Look at me go!

Really, who hasn't run a 1/2 marathon these days?
I am so proud of myself. I only cried twice, once when I tried to leave Dra, but I ended up running back to her, "I would rather run with you!" and a lady close by laughed with sympathy, "We would rather run with you too!"
I cried again later when I really did leave Dra.

I guess I cried again a week later when Dra sent me a text:
"At this moment last Saturday, I was crossing the finish line into your arms. Happy anniversary to us!"

Oh dear, I'm crying right now just remembering it.

Thank you Dra, you are the spur in my cowboy boots.

My Dad and I had a really fun time at Mandalay Bay picking out toys for our boys.

Ezra: Hammerhead Shark
Eli: Puppet Stingray
Abe: Whale Shark
Toby: TBA since we haven't delivered the surprise yet.

Ezra had just thrown his hammerhead shark to my dad and was about to launch his "grass snake". They love the game of toss something off Jay's deck. Ezra loved it when I'd lob his shark up to him with instructions such as, "Here he comes to taste your toes!" Ezra always said hammerhead was on his way down to bite me.
Dad braving the cat poo-riddled lawn. I curse you cats. Eli refused to walk on the grass, and I had to carry him to and fro. I loved it though.

Abe loves his whale shark, and I love Abe.
Eli adores stingrays, and he kept wrapping this one around himself and announcing that his stingray was a great hugger.
When choosing animals, I confidently told my dad to get Ezra a hammerhead shark because Ezra knows what they are. When he received his present, my mom shouted, "Do you know what it is?"
"Yes, I do! It's a hammerhead shark! But what do they do?"
I told him they hammer heads, so he insisted on trying his hammerhead shark out on each of us and himself as the picture shows.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

If anyone wants to go when it comes to Salt Lake, I would love to go again.
The entire time, I felt like Nelson on The Simpsons when he's watching Andy Williams perform Moon River during their Spring Break joy ride.
Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef

I begged to attend, my dad wanted to go too, so we won.

Ahh! Ever since I watched the I Shouldn't Be Alive episode where a group gets stranded on a sand dune on the Zambezi River after their boat gets turned over by a hippo, my fear of crocodiles has been tripled. Please watch the episode, then call me so we can talk about the guy's logic to swim underwater to "confront the croc".
Lion Fish! I learned what these were way back when from our Go Fish playing cards.
My two favorite dragons.
Reflection of two absolutely content nerds.

Only one finger touches were allowed. I thought it would be hilarious to "accidentally" drop my camera in the water to see everyone's reaction. It would have been even better if I could have done it in front of my Grandma Carver, but my dad shook his head disapprovingly.

I was very sad that the Giant Octopus was hanging out at the top of his tank where we could barely see parts of him. Another time mister, another time.
Spring Break Vegas Style

Between Jay and Grandma Carver, I was to my absolute limit on crazy comments.
This flower garden at the Bellagio helped soothe my jangled nerves.

The bee is made of flowers!
Everyone was rushing us to get out so that we could catch the water show, but I snuck in one last pic of this guy.
